Economic & Community Development Strategic Plan Update Meeting

Hickman County Economic & Community Development Association will host a public meeting to solicit input to update Hickman County’s Strategic Plan for Economic & Community Development. Each year, we invite the input of the public and community leaders in determining what the community should be focusing on in the future. East Hickman development? Community fire protection? Improve water systems? Recruiting new employers? If so, what kind of employers? Existing Business Retention & Expansion? Maintain the status quo? Attract retirees? Promote tourism? These are just a few of the questions that may be considered by those who attend. This is part of our efforts to become recertified as a 3-Star Community.

The meeting will be held in the conference room in the Career Center building located at 130 Progress Center Plaza on April 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
