The Hickman County Chamber of Commerce has a new website. It is still under construction, but looks like it is going to be another benefit for those of us who are chamber of commerce members…. and for those non-business types just looking for more info on Hickman County. I work as an economic developer. At the moment, my day job is Executive Director of Hickman County Economic & Community Development Association, Inc. Working in a one person shop, I do community marketing, strategic planning, industrial recruitment, business retention & expansion, retail recruitment, tourism development and manage the non-profit corporation of the public/private partnership.
I am a member of International Economic Development Council, Southern Economic Development Council, Tennessee Economic Development Council and International Council of Shopping Centers.
I have held the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from International Economic Development Council (IEDC) since 2008 and I have earned a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University.
