Hickman County Economic Development Mentioned for its Community Culture Support

Hickman County Economic & Community Development Association received a mention in the program for Vanderbilt University Opera Theatre’s production of Kurt Weill’s Street Scene last weekend. Supporting arts and culture is important to a community, whether – as Richard Florida calls it – the ‘sob’ (symphony, opera, ballet), the Grinders Switch Radio Hour, the annual quilt show, or preserving historical resources.
