Working to maintain trend

The unemployment rate for Hickman County decreased from 13.5% in February to 13.1% in March even with an increase in the number of people in the labor force. Hickman County had the lowest unemployment rate in the Local Workforce Investment Area (LWIA 10) at 2.7% below the average for the eight (8) county region (see spreadsheet for details).
